Payment methods
Last updated: May 2, 2026
SEES offers secure payment methods through Paytrail, Shopify Payments and other payment service providers available in the checkout.
The available payment methods may vary depending on your country, device, order value and the payment methods activated in the online store. All available payment options are shown at checkout before you complete your order.
Payment service providers
Payments in the SEES online store may be processed by Paytrail, Shopify Payments or other payment service providers available in the checkout.
The sales contract is made between the customer and SEES / Ebisu Oy. SEES is responsible for the online store, order processing, delivery, returns, refunds and other obligations related to the sale, in accordance with our Terms of Service, Return Policy and applicable law.
Payment service providers are responsible for the secure technical processing of payments and may have their own terms and privacy notices.
Paytrail
Paytrail Plc acts as a payment service provider and is an authorised payment institution supervised by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority.
When you pay through Paytrail, the available payment methods may include Finnish online bank payments, credit and debit cards, mobile payments, invoice or instalment payment methods and other payment methods activated in the online store. The exact payment methods available to you are shown at checkout.
Paytrail may appear as the recipient on your bank or card statement and forwards the payment to the online store.
Card details are processed securely by the payment service provider and are not stored in SEES’s own systems. Paytrail states that card details are processed through a secure form and are never saved in the online store’s system.
Shopify Payments
Shopify Payments may be used to process card payments, accelerated checkout methods and other payment methods available through Shopify.
In Finland, Shopify Payments supports credit and debit card payments, accelerated checkout options and selected local payment methods, depending on the store’s settings. Shopify also states that Shopify Payments in Finland can be used with accelerated checkouts such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Available Shopify Payments methods are shown at checkout.
Cards and digital wallets
Depending on the payment provider and checkout settings, you may be able to pay with credit or debit cards and digital wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay or Shop Pay.
Card payments are processed securely by the relevant payment service provider. SEES does not store full payment card details in its own systems.
Online bank payments and mobile payments
Depending on the payment methods activated in the checkout, you may be able to pay through Finnish online banks or mobile payment services.
The available options are shown at checkout before you complete your order.
Invoice and instalment payments
If invoice or instalment payment methods are available at checkout, they are provided by the relevant payment service provider and may be subject to separate terms, credit assessment, age limits, fees, interest and payment schedules.
Please review the payment provider’s terms carefully before choosing an invoice or instalment payment method.
Payment confirmation
After a successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation by email.
If your payment fails or is cancelled, the order may not be processed. If you are unsure whether your payment was completed, please contact us at customerservice@sees.fi before placing a new order.
Refunds
Refunds are made using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.
Refunds are handled in accordance with our Return Policy and applicable law. The payment service provider, bank or card issuer may require additional time to process and post the refund.
